Andhra Lake Phase – II Wind Project is one of longstanding project in CLP India’s renewable portfolio and delivering prominent sustainable benefits to local as well global environment.

The project activity has installed 63 number of Enercon make E-53 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) to generate electrical power for export to the distribution licensee. Total capacity of the project activity is 50.4 MW. The project is designed to generate 80 million units every year, which is equivalent to powering more than 16,000 Indian households. The project activity has designed to avoid more than 76,000 tones CO2e per year and saves more than 280 million liters of water per year compared to a typical coal power plant, which is currently dominating Indian electricity sector.

In addition to that CLP Wind Farms has undertaken numerous community development project focused on improving health and education, and creating sustainable community around the project.
